Do i need a consultation?

Prior to any treatment being performed, we conduct a 30 min consultation with you.

During your consultation, we will discuss with you your skin goals, and walk you through all facets of your recommended treatment.

Treatment and consultation are carried out upon first visit, please allow 1-1.5 hours , depending on the chosen treatment.

We kindly ask all clients to arrive 15 min prior to your appointment.

Is a deposit required for my treatment?

To secure your appointment, credit card details are required.

We do not charge your card and it is stored in a secure system called Salon Pay.

We simply require 48 hrs notice for any cancellations or reschedules, otherwise a $50 cancellation fee will be incurred.

What payment options do you have?

Our payment options include all major credit cards, cash and Afterpay and Zippay.

Flexible direct debit payment plans are also available, designed to suit your individual payment needs.

Is the process painful?

Fibroblast skin tightening is a non-invasive procedure with minimal level of pain.  It is virtually painless, as the treatment area is numbed before the treatment. After the treatment, the treated area might be slightly reddish and some patients may experience some swelling ( only for areas around the eyes ).

At the site of each spot, a small crust will form. They should not be touched and you should wait 4-5 days for them to fall off naturally.

During the procedure, the clients may feel some discomfort, not actual pain, depending on the treated area of the face/body.

Are the results visible immediately after my treatment?

The results are visible immediately after the treatment, and maximum results will be visible after 3-4 weeks, when the skin enters the third phase of healing - connective and collagen tissue growth.

So results are visible immediately, but the end results follow after 3-4 weeks after your treatment.

How many treatments are required for a optimal result?

This depends on the state of your skin and the desired degree of correction. Clients are often satisfied after only one treatment, for example if the wrinkles are not very deep, but due to the simplicity of the procedure, clients can elect to have two or even three treatments, to achieve a perfect result.

The procedure may be repeated after the skin has fully regenerated, which is 6-8 weeks after the procedure.

Generally, two sessions are required.

How long will the effect of the Fibroblast treatment last?

The results of the Fibroblast treatment are permanent and may be visible for years. Its important to note that the ageing process still continues, and your skin will continue to age as you get older. On average, results last from 2-4 years.

Plasma skin tightening treatment is not suitable for everyone.

Fibroblast Plasma skin tightening is inadvisable for the following conditions:

  • If you are prone to keliod scars

  • If you have diabetes, healing disorders or lymphatic draining issues

  • If you have a history of hyperpigmentation

  • If you wear a pacemaker

  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • The treatment is only recommended on light-medium skin tones. Anyone with a darker complexion is at risk of hyperpigmentation

  • You must not display Herpes Simplex Virus ( Cold sores/Fever blisters). If you have experienced Herpes Simplex Virus ( Cold sores/Fever blisters) in the past, you must consult your medical doctor and obtain a prescription for Valtrex, and begin taking the medication 3 days before your treatment and for 4 days following your treatment.

Pre Care

Avoid any kind of tanning ( spray tanning, tanning injections, sun tanning and tanning beds ) for 2-4 weeks before your treatment. Ideally, you should try to use SPF50 to prep your skin for 2 to 4 weeks before your treatment, especially if you are naturally darker skinned.

You may even wish to consider using a natural Tyrosinase inhibitor to help ensure there is no overproduction of pigment in the skin, eg hyperpigmentation.

Avoid any other types of procedures on the same area which you intend to have, such as laser therapy,  chemical peels, botox and fillers, as this may prevent your treatment being performed by your clinician at the time you want it.

  • No facial acids (Retin A, salicylic, glycolic ) for 14 days before and 21 days after your Plasma treatment

  • No botox or fillers 21 days before or after your treatment

  • No micro needling/PRP for 21 days before or after your treatment

  • No laser/peels ( depending on the intensity of the peel) for 90 days before or after your treatment

  • Surgical procedures, face lifts, you must wait at least 9 months postop/before your Plasma treatment

  • If you are displaying signs of the cold or flu, the treatment should be rescheduled.

  • Contact lenses must be removed for treatments on your upper eyelid

  • If you are receiving upper or lower eyelid Plasma treatment and have eyelash extensions, you MUST have your lashes removed prior to your treatment and reapplied after 8 weeks

  • Discontinue use of any cleaners, creams and serums containing acids much as salicylic, glycolic and lactic, 4 weeks prior to having any facial Plasma skin tightening treatment.
